‘Lucifer’ Trailer teases a Celestial War

Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for the final batch of episodes from Season 5.  From awkward family dinners to a therapy session between the father-son duo, it seems that the trailer has covered it all. Lucifer Season 5B will consist of eight episodes which will be available for streaming on Netflix on May 28.

The trailer gives us a glimpse into the strained relationship of Lucifer with his all-knowing father. We are even introduced to ‘the most dysfunctional family ever’ which consists of Amednial, Lucifer, Michael and their father – God himself.

Things get jolted when God announces his plan to retire. Lucifer decides to take over his father’s mantle, however, he is stopped abruptly by his twin brother Michael who also wants to replace his father’s position. What follows, is a celestial war for God’s throne.
